Bayo Adegoke

I'm a design engineer in Lagos. I run Zoluna, a product company, where I designed, built and launched Ansarr, a research marketplace. I also designed and built Luciana's storefront, a Lagos fashion house, the website uses a feature that allows their clients to try the clothes selected on their real picture - an AI try-on.

I'm currently the lead mobile designer at Zart, a marketplace for vetted tradespeople, where I turned the brief from a booking app into a platform built on trust and now oversee the design.

Before that, I designed Everything African's shop, which was selling across the UK within months of launch. At Bani I redesigned virtual accounts with the lead designer and the PM, and customer retention rose by 80%.

I work across the whole product: research, interfaces and the design system, down to the database and the release.

I'm open to senior and lead design engineer roles, remote or on site, with teams that ship. I also take on client projects.

I'm Bayo Adegoke. I'm a design engineer, here in Lagos. I run Zoluna, a product company. That's where I designed, built and launched Ansarr, a research marketplace.

Childhood, School, & TrainingLet me take you back to the start.

I lived part of my childhood in Ile-Ife and Ibadan, my name which simply means “The arrival of the crown comes with joy” is a name from the Yoruba tribe of South Western Nigeria.

I studied geology at Obafemi Awolowo University, which prepares me for the ruggedness that comes with every job I’ve worked on, then surveying and geoinformatics, strengthened my ability in data collection, statistical mathematics, and core engineering at the University of Lagos.

Along the way I worked as a broadcaster after being trained from the National Broadcast Academy, FRCN. Being the ICT4D support on a malaria campaign: training supervisors, health workers and community distributors on how to use data collection tools such as KoboToolbox to collect, manage, and visualize data in the Delta State campaign, 2025. I also taught product design at Gurudemy Academy . Each was the same job as design: explaining something new until someone else could use it.

I started out teaching product design at Gurudemy Academy, from 2021 to 2022. In 2022, I was a product designer at Bani Africa. In 2024, I was a product designer at Lascom Technologies, in the UK, where I designed the shop for Everything African.

Since 2025, I've been the lead mobile designer at Zart. And this year, I designed and built Luciana's store, and Ansarr, as the design engineer of my own company, Zoluna.
